Thanks, jgarbs. My paint isn't nearly as good as some of the works I've seen here, but after browsing through all the pics, I have become inspired to be better. Only time and practice will tell.
Here's a few 18th scale bodies I've done recently. The Mazda on the bottom was my first air-brushed body. Not the greatest, but I'm tryin', and learning as I go.
Sorry about the quality of the pics, as they're from mobile cam.
Here's one for Tom Wolf. He already had a wing and starter box wrap with a similar design and color scheme, so I stuck pretty close to that. Hope you like it.

I'll let the original poster chime in too, but when I do the streaking effect, I use an airbrush and randomly paint the darker color lines (orange, in this case) from front to back, starting with a wider spray and gradually thinning to thinner spray as I move backward. Then I back it with the lighter color (in this case yellow).
