airbrush style
I`m looking to by an airbrush set and was wondering what style would be better. Between my son and I we have 8 car`s and the bodies are getting to the point that they need to be replaced, I normally use rattle can`s but it is time to upgrade to an airbrush. I`m not real familiar with them so what is the better choice? Single or double action, internal or external mix. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank`s in advance

I bought a real dual-action airbrush as my first ever, i beleive it's "better" to learn using the 'real deal' from the start.
The Parma Faskolor F1 is a pretty good brush, i got one a couple of weeks ago and i'm very happy with it, especially since it's about half the price of an Iwata around here..

My first airbrush was an Iwata Revolution CR, but I have only been practing and reading on airbrushing. I should have started with the Iwata Eclipse ECL 4500 dual action airbrush just like srp67 said. If you learn the single action first then you have to start all over again with the dual action airbrush. I paid $109.00 for my first airbrush which does great airbrush but not so great with small lines, like the Iwata Eclipse ECL 4500, that is about $109 to $139. Trust me I was in the same boat as you a year ago. He is the important thing to remeber if you can afford the better airbrush, go for it. I hope this helps )
