I too have a question for anyone with experience in this area of Expertise. I bought a body off ebay and the windows were painted. the body is real nice looking except for the windows being painted i want to remove the paint so there clear again. the paint isnt real thick in the body.

Just wondering what type of solvent i could use or other method to clean the paint form the windows.

Definitely will take a while. It will also make the body a little brittle and could easily be cracked during a crash.
The windows will never be clear again. The best you could hope for is a heavy fogged look.
I remember doing this to a wing that I didn't like the color of. While I was stripping it, it started to crack.
I was using acetone. Don't know if that is stronger or weaker than break fluid.

acetone is acid so its stronger lol. That like pouring gasoline into a styrofoam cup itll just eat the plastic away.

the windows are cloudy now, and the body has cracked in places from using brake fluid.
Good to see if the nitro fuel would work.
cheers.
