Default REAL carbon fiber

ok...i have a honda s2k body. i want to make the hood/trunk and roof carbon fiber...instead of painting fake carbon fiber on it...is it possible to somehow glue actual carbon fiber material to inside of the body? any one seen this done(if so post pics). i have a sheet of carbon kevlar laying around and i thought it would work...just dont know how to get it to stick so u could see it clearly and perfectly. any input or suggestions would be appreciated..i plan on painting it yellow and just want to make it look as real as possible.

If you can find the carbon fabric anywhere you could use a clear epoxy and form it to the inside of the body. xxx-main picture glue might also work

The first problem with using real carbon fiber is that you have to use it like fiberglass it has to be laid with a resin the raw cloth is not very cool looking like the finished product is. You need special resin for carbon fiber works basically the same but it cures clear not yellowish like fiberglass next in the curing process the resin will get bubbles in it you will need to get out with a matt roller that will not get them all out you will have to use a chemical spray to get the rest out but since your finished side will be under lexan it will be hard to get them out. The other problem is that the lexan is smooth it will act like a mold if it doesn't fall out immediately the first blow the body takes it will most like release. Not trying to discourage you it is probably possible to accomplish but not very practical.

I'm sure you can buy carbon fibre stickers.

Its not real carbon fibre but looks better than the painted stuff IMO.

It would have to be placed on the outside of the body. The adhesive side is silver.

Wow, dude, that looks hot. You should get some of the stuff pre-cut to cover Playstation Portables and sell it on eBay. Do you have any of that stuff in 1/10 scale size?
