Air brush with Quite compressor
Hello every one, I am looking into air brushes and I would like a quite compressor (I don't have that much to spend either) Does any one have any Idea's? I was looking at this Tamiya one...

But I know nothing about this, maybe some people can put me in the correct direction.
Thanks,
John

I know you say you don't have much to spend, but you can't go wrong with the Iwata compressor. Whisper quiet.

Got mine Campsfeld Hausing @ Harbor Freigh , its the quiet air model. Sounds like a DC powered portable tire inflator...I sit right next to it at almost ear level and it doesnt bother me at all.
Much better than my 15gal craftsman...my ears would hurt by just sitting in the garage.
The air output on the CH is pretty good.....you can do quite a number of things with it. Its portable too and I see people even at the track with these blowing their cars off.
Just be sure to get a warranty. I got the 3 year for $20 dollars from harbor. I guranteed myself 3 years+ of use with the warranty, compressors are more prone to breaking down if you ask me.

Yeah I remember going there first. Not sure what model mine had. It was close I dont know why but I went to HarBor Freight for some reason. Just make sure its the 2040 model. Cause I remember I did a lot of research and there is a model thats slightly older and it seems people were having problems.
Reason why I got my warranty for mine and I figure Ive going to be using and abusing it a lot. Im painting weekly and cleaning my multiple cars / trucks all the time.

Its ok. You gotta sometimes give the compressor some time to catch up, but it works fair. I usually try to run 60psi from my larger compressor the whole time, this seems to really get everything off the car. This one can do about 30-40 psi for a good while , 60psi or more and it blows itself out pretty quick.
