Well, the racer list for this race is looking good ...
We're expecting Steenhoven and Hamilton to represent the Kisbey/KSG camp.
Kenny "KC" Collins and Kevin "KOZ" Osmon will be in the house to represent KC Racing and Team Hyperdrive ....
Rumor has it Brian "Ziggy" Ziegler will be flying out on business and bringing his oval stuff to run with us! The Silva's should be attendance too, making it a powerful Silva Concepts/Checkpoint Team.
Nor-Cal fast guys Charlie Ferrari and Dave Wert will be trying their luck against the "Big Dogs"! Just that list of names would mean Expert Mod will be an excellent show to watch all weekend. No telling who else will attend to add more spice to that class.
How about our other classes? Sportsman Mod? 19 Turn? Stock? 1/12 Scale? Touring? I'd really like to get a good idea of who will be in the mix .... Please post up, or send me an e-mail and let me know what classes you'll be running, any sponsors and equipment info. I'd like to get a really good list together and have the info for the race weekend announcing.
The sponsor list for the event is awesome! These companies have stepped up to support oval racing on the West coast: JPHRacing.com, BSR Racing Tires, CustomWorks, Darkside Motorsports, KC Racing, Lefthander R/C, Maverick Oval Chassis, McCallister Racing, Pro-line/Protoform, Silva Concepts, SMC Batteries, Team Associated, Team Hyperdrive, Tre's Leonard Designs and Stockton R/C Raceway!
Each sponsor will be sending prizes to be given out in the free raffle for all drivers in attendance! Should be well over $1000 worth of goodies given away!
Please spread the word about the event. And, remember, there will be new Calandra carpet put down for this event and the track will be a "Snowbirds" style layout.
