This thread has been pretty quiet for a little while. Everyone out running their trucks w/o issue? Or did everyone move on to something else?

Just had finished full rebuild and made it run as I like. Had to drill pistons in Shock absorbers to 1.9mm x 4 and changed rear springs for DDM springs. 450cSt oil. As for differentials - 7000FR/10000C/2000REAR.
One of servos was DOA but replaced on request. Though new servo doesn't work with old one - some sort of glitches. So for now I use one stock and one XQ-Power. Goes OK for now. Closer to summer will get silenced pipe and brace for throttle servo(brakes not strong without it as plastic tends to bend)

Agreed. I'd take a little work on the front end to have something that lasts and saves me a few hundred $.

Honestly doesn't look much worse than running 1/10 or 1/12 onroad. Make sure everything is nice and smooth to start and the car will reward you.

That said if anyone is looking to unload theirs, drop me a PM!

These will be here in the states very soon. http://www.kingmotor.cn/english/Cars...mallclassid=33 I talked to the guy that sells the Rovans and the KM here in the states and said he would have them in about ten days.

Always nice to have more options. Wonder how the price will be, looks like it comes with everything (pipe, radio, etc)

Congrats on the new purchase. Did you get it from Dan in Valley Cottage? I was going to get the LT but I'm going to wait for the KM X2 which he should have very soon. I see you are in Dubois too bad you're on the other side of the state it would be cool to have a bunch of Pa guys closer together for a bash session.

I got it off the rovan website. My bud has the losi five. I couldn't pull the trigger on spending that much at once for a rc. I'm sure the parts are not as good but I love the tear down and rebuilding. I couldn't believe the size of these Beasts!

Parts quality isn't bad actually. If you replace plastic turnbuckle ends with Losi ones you will annihilate all sloppiness and wobbles in this truck.

yea im looking hard at this truck, still doing research on servos.seem it hard to keep a steering servo in any of these trucks(losi or clone)for any period of time.has the market figured this out yet?is there a 5th scale servo that does the job?i dont want to get either of these trucks and spend 500.00 on steering alone.

So how's the LT305 running for the original poster on this topic? Any reliability issues? Is it worth the extra $500 or so that you saved from the 5ive? I'm asking bc I got a chance to see the 5ive in hobby town here in Houston and man....it's going for $1599. But that's my first buy if I win the lottery this weekend. Lol
