I would suggest asking that question here instead. Lot more dirt oval racers at that site as there are very few on here.

Default very much like a touring oval but softer, more forgiving
My son and I race an HPI nitro (touring car) of the dirt and an HPI electric (touring car) on a flat paved oval or carpet with pretty much the same set-up. The nitro is heavy and the track bumpy so I run a med soft spring with light weight shock oil and alot more ride hieght. www.dirtoval.com has alot of good information.
