It was the only thing I hated about carpet oval racing.

I cut the inside to the same dimension as the other tires, so if you are running 2.10, I would cut the inside to 2.1 and the outside is larger.

I think in part this works for R/C Oval because of the Foam Tire characteristics

I always cut camber in the fronts on my carpet oval cars. Also add stagger in the front and rear as well........

have local flat kart dirt oval racers here that camber cut their Maxxis tires. So, it is a thing. LoL and they are fast.
