Default which 2 cycle oil should you use??

Which type of 2 cycle oil should you use in a 2 cycle gas motor?? Some people say caster based 2 cycle oil , some say synthetic and some reccomend non synthetic. I am confused. I was told that synthetic oil does not allow the ring to break in and caster based oil carbons up the motor !! So which camp is correct??

Default Oil

Castor is a good oil to use. The best would be a class 5 synthetic but it's pricey.I use blendzall green label castor. It does leave carbon but it wont hurt anything except the plug may need changed once in a while.Steer clear of any synthetic oil less than class 5 as it doesn't lube a 2 stroke as well.

I would think about using what the motor manufacturer recommends.
Then use whatever you want.

The guy who did the work on my motor said I am to use this and this only as most oils, including synthetic are only really made for 2 strokes pushing up to 14-16 thousand RPM where you need something around the 22-26 rpm range.
