Default new class comming soon

1/5th oval racing, proto types are done, the cars are proving durable and very fast. Should be a lot of fun.

I wish you luck with your venture, but hasn't this already been done, ie quarter scale?

1/5th scale, we have already seen the same lap times as the best 1/4's in the country with out of the box 1/5th cars and half the entry price. We are hoping this will help rekindle the 1/4 scael cars and bring some new life to the oval tracks across the US.

6 second laps, average track speed of 54 mph, in the wet.

If you are a oval guy they are no were near boring, pan cars on the same track are turning 6.7 second laps, nitro touring turn 6.5.
1/4 scale turn 6.0 at best.

Nice picks of Hideaway Raceway. That was a GREAT place to race.

still is, very fast with a great wall for removing unneeded parts from the cars.

Ah, the ol' hideaway track, I think this will be a real exciting class. Consider the tuning options on a 1/5 car, the tire technology available, the relatively low cost on spare parts, and a 23 cc engine that runs forever.

I saw something about FG making this body. Is it out and for sale now? I had a buddy tell me about 1/5 oval......Sounds like and looks like it could be fun!

FG has had a stockcar type body on their action list for a while, but have decided to focuse their efforts on the development of new Monster Truck bodies etc. The body you see here is a MMR product. If fits perfectly to the FG sportline car and makes for a very potent oval package.
