Is oval racing popular in other countries

Do racers in countries other than America get reved up for rc oval racing? Just curious..........

The only place's that I know of that race oval is the US and Canada.

There is or was some oval racing in the UK. I think they call it Mini Stock. I also saw some pictures of what looked to me like old super modified type cars.

i heard they run in germany..... nitro oval.. for a while i was selling used stuff to guys there..

but i wouldnt call it big..

I did a little search on the net and found that they do indeed run nitro oval in England and have run it in Germany. I think as NASCAR continues to grow in popularity, rc oval may follow to a degree..........

I read in one of my older R/C Car magazines that there is a "Nascar" style racing in england, and is really popular. They use the same cars used in nascar.

hi, i have made some races in oval in 1995,1996 and 1997. It was at The Lude, a small town near Le Mans, on a rollerskating oval . After, this race was not organized . In France, oval racing is not very popular .
