Most guys are running the car straight out of the box on dirt oval with few minor changes. The big change is to convert the 2-speed back to a single speed clutch.

Other than that, some guys are running rally tires on looser tracks, but that's about it. Slap a McAllister or Factory Works TC late model on it and go. No need for any conversion kits.

Hope this helps,

doug

apex is exactly right... no conversion needed other than a 1 speed and removing the droop screws.

We are working right now on a carbon fiber chassis conversion for the NTC3 but as for a dirt oval conversion, the only thing we normally do is trim off the droop tabs, and add short buggy front shock shafts to the shocks. I forget the exact lengtrh but they are just a tad longer. Other than that its ready to go. Oh and the single speed conversion..

Shock shafts, Oval body, and a single speed is all that is really needed to convert a NTC3 to a oval machine
