Default SCTE convert too two wheel drive

I would like to convert my four wheel SCTE too two wheel. What do I change with the center diff? I took out the front drive but the diff just over heats and turns free. JB weld?

Why? Sell it as it is and buy a 2wd, that is a waste of a nice truck.

JB weld or putty of some kind would work. Effectively you just need to lock the center diff.

Thanks guys. BMI Speedway is in walking distance for me but they don't run a four wheel drive class. I plan to keep a second diff for offroad which is where I prefer to be.

I've seen SC10's go for as little as $100-120 in the for-sale section here with XXX-SCT's sometimes offered for even less, save the SCTE to try to start a 4wd class or for when you can race OffRoad.

Talking What to do

The way I converted mine is I got the XXXT SC front axles, I took out the dog bones or CVs completely out took out the gears in the front and took out the front drive line CV, don't lock the front diffs, you want it free as possible in the front. other wise your car will drive funny and slow..
