Cool 1/10 Pan Car Set Ups

After running my first Club Race with my RC10L4, with my Rookie Stripe and keeping up with the Big boys I'm hooked.

All I can say is what was I thinking starting out with a Touring Car?

I can hardly wait for next year when I will be running stock brushless. Maybe a Neo One?

When setting up my car, I used the Asphalt cheat sheet on the back cover of the manual.

The only variances I used to differ from the 2002 AE Pro Driver's set up was a #1 piston on the Macro shock, Green Jaco's on the left wheels, Blues on the right, Aqua on the RF, 1 degree camber on the fronts, stock front springs,2 bolt t-bar. Running Stock motor.

Are there any current RC10L4 set up sheets on the web or how people set their cars up? What about a website for People size racing car set ups?

I was told my car drove smooth through the carpet wrinkles and handled well around the turns.

Since I placed in the middle of the pack each time (2nd in my first heat), I don't want to tweak anything major and just concentrate on maintaining my line.

Go to the ae website and checkout setups. I basically followed Sean's setup and adjusted for the local tracks I run. It's a good starting point

Thumbs up

Thanks.

It was Sean Daryl's setup that I used as a starting point and changed small things from there to work on carpet.

Sounds like I'm there and need to work on choosing my line, better.
