revzalot Right now we don't have a template for cutting, once you have the kit in hand (and a look at the kit on the site)you will see how to cut the chassis. It is very easy to install, All you need is a drill with a 1/8 bit, a dremel works good to cut the chassis and a file to smooth the edges. The last kit I installed it took me 10 minutes from start to finish. If you have any questions I will be happy to help.
Besides the kit, tc3, and the other tc stuff. What other special items are needed to be competitive with this setup? Is the 4wd going to be a hindrance with oval racing. I don't see much oval cars that are 4wd. They're mostly pan cars.
We run TC3's with a Latemodel body and a 19T motor on carpet in Cols, OH and they are the fastest class . In the summer they run the same car with open mod motors on a dirt oval in Mansfield, OH. I'm pretty sure this style of racing is all over the US.
I'm going to get one of the oval kits from LeadingEdge for my TC3. For $39.95, you can't beat it.
I Can build pretty much any thing for RC cars. I normally build bodies and nitro parts but I have 2 CNC machines that can easily whip out a carbon fiber frame . Also I am a x ASA oval champion (real race car) so I'm sure I can design a frame that would work great for you oval guys

IRS is working on a TC4 conversion kit. It is primarily for onroad, but the adjustments required for oval will be within the capability of this kit. Look for it soon on the IRS website.

What would it take to get a custom Corally Assassin chassis going ? I'd like to go off of what I currently have. I would like to have a thicker bottom plate and a built in slider tray. The current location of the cells seems to be about perfect....
