All old school kits, sometimes you can find some pieces on eBay. There were "lowering kits" made by McAllister (the body company), as well as kits by JG and Cheetah, both companies long gone. They were short front and rear shock towers to allow short shocks and lowered setups. Andy's made front and rear oval body mounts. RPM still makes ols chool narrow front and rear A-arms, that are nice for dirt oval cars.

Most guys who ran gold tub RC10s on dirt oval tracks way back when, made their own modifications by making their own shock towers and chassis to allow an LTO setup. A Dremel cut-off wheel and some fiberglass or graphite sheet, and it is pretty easy.

You can also ask the group at dirtoval.com for their suggestions. They might have some ideas that I overlooked.

Hope this helps,

doug

A new/old McAllister lowering kit popped up on Ebay this weekend...

eBay Auction

It changed the shock towers to allow you to lay down the front shocks and use another set of short front shocks on the rear. It comes with a fdront swaybar, too, which fits right into the stock front blocks on the old RC10s.
