Sorry for this dumb question but what all is needed to make a 5B into a TRUE 5T? I bought a 5B and it came with 5T body, body mounts, both bumpers, and 5T tires. Do I need some type of side rails or wheel extensions? I want to run the new 1/5th scale truck class that is supposed to start up at the local track this coming summer. Please let me know what I need to do and any upgradesvI should make? It has shocks, pipe, rpm arms and I think that's it. One more dumb question. Do I need the full cage or will my 5B cage work under the 5T body. I'm going to start ripping into this thing this weekend so I just wanted to get some info from the RcTech Baja guys.

I don't know if there's a thread on this here, but DO check out hpibajaforum.com. I know there are several threads on this subject there, including parts lists of what's needed. I'm just getting into baja, so I personally don't know. I guess one way would be to go to HPI's site and look at how the parts list differ?

Ya Baja forum. Diff wheels and gearing? but extenders are only if you desire. There are side rails as well as roll bar extension. Sounds like your close. Front top plate may be different as well. I bought the 5sc so not completely sure. Baja forum has ALl your answers and then some. I spent a few hours reading first visit. Very informative.
