Hey all- I've got a slightly used and basically stock 5SC on the way, and had some question about electronics. I think the first thing I'll be picking up is a kill switch, but what else? My main question is about powering it, and whether a 5 cell nicad/nihm is adequate, or go to a 2s lipo with a voltage regulator. I have an extra RX for my 4PL, so that's the radio I'll be using.

I personally like 2s LIFE batteries in my Baja. Killer RC makes one that works great. I would also replace the stock steering servo, the HPI servo is pretty weak in my opinion. DEF get the kill switch first.
