Yes the Losi looks promising a little heavy at 37 pounds 2.5 ounces. Those that saw it Hostile Baja Feast said it looked very good. Adam Drake for Losi was there and he had a BZM motor in his.

The word on the street was there was a few modded mills in the Losi...dog pile racing also ....which is a beast in my 4wd...also look like aftermarket parts will be out as soon as they start hit the stores....like upgrade r/c .com for body wraps... I am sure team chase will follow with some goodies to name a few...

Large scale is on the move....for those who have not noticed just the past few years the availblity of large scale has grown huge why do you think the china clones have been so many ....

I read a lot of good things about Dog Pile Racing. Do you have one of his long rod motors or standard length rod motors. I do not have any real hot motors. I do have a race ported 30.5 that I built with one of OBR kit and a GP290 I built with one of ESP race ported cylinders and two stock motors all 2 bolt.

I just bought a set of new CY 4 bolt cases I hope to put one of OBR prostock 30.5 kits in some day. Reason I went with the CY 4 bolt case is I got them for $28 shipped. I will not be running the CY bearings will be getting better bearings.

OBR new Pro Stock line of motors are taking place of the race ported line and are putting out 1/2 to 3/4 more HP then their race ported.

Here is a couple pictures of my 5b SS and a list of up grades.

If you have pictures of your rigs please post them.

Any one here do any racing with their large scale? For a short time we had a large scale off road track about 60 miles away but did not get enough support to keep it open. They reopened a oval track which I am not crazy about oval but I miss racing so much I might give it a try. Only problem is they run smaller scale as well and they make the large scale guys run street tiers so it does not dig up the track as bad.

In 2009 I drove 600 miles one way to race at Diggers Dungeon. The closes off road track to me now other then the oval is 300 miles one way. Unfortunately do to my situation not able to travel far right now.

Nice T. How close are you to Large Scale RC.com? I raced with Troy and John in 09 at Diggers Dungeon. Do you ever go to their track. Looks like it is a supper track from the pictures I have seen.

115 miles to Largescale....I was there in June for the Power Jam and might make it one more time this year.

I will be there for Power Jam 2012 for sure as its a world class facility.

If I lived that close I would be there once a month. I would love to make it to their power jam but it is a 1000 miles for me. If things change for me maybe one year.

They have 1 race day a month...start saving for power jam now.....we camped at the track for 3 days so we could spend all our money on parts..

Large scale is my true passion in rc and I would love to see a dedicated section.

Here in Oz large scale popularity is growing faster than any other land based form of RC and with the cheap clones etc that are becoming avialable and opeining up largescale rc to those that couldnt previosuly afford it the numbers are only going to grow.

You guys certainly have my vote for a dedicated section

Default 1/5 scale On-Road Forum!!! YES!!!!!!!

i think it would be a great idea to have a separate section for 1/5 On-Road racing cars so that we dont get mixed up with 1/5 off road, which is a hole different class.
Good idea!!!!!!!

I hope to se a 1/5 On-Road section here on Rctech Soon!!!!!!!!!!

I think we need to work on getting a dedicated forum for all large scale then work on dividing it up. Good to see all here.
