What are you smoking?? Spektrum is trash; I didn't even realize people tried to debate that. Savox is the best bang for the buck right now.

The new Hitec D845WP it pretty sweet and a really good price. Man these 1/5 scales are not cheap. All MIP brakes shocks clutch and a killer Bartolone 30.5 Reed with Bartolone pipe and a lot of his goodies but boy it is worth every penny.

This is also correct. The stock servos are about the same spec as a SAVOX which are not up to the task. The new Spektrum is good for the majority of people, though there are some that have still killed them. The new Hitec is just shy of 700 oz of torque @ 7.4V. I have used one in a Mini WRC and was really happy with it - especially with the price point of $100.

Which Hitec servo are you referring too? Model number? For $100. Looks like my price range.

When I think "best bang for your buck servos" a $200 servo does not come to mind. Savox servos are good torque, waterproof, metal gears, dont crap out, and demolish Spektrum servos in the same price bracket.

A $200 1/5th servo is cheap.

The new hitec model # is D840WP for throttle and D845WP for steering. $100 each. But a little hard to find being they just came out.

I read that you have to modified the Radio box to make it fit right and also is a little taller and will require some M3 sized spacers underneath the servo mounting tabs? Did you do anything to make yours fit? Im looking to put them on the Losi DBXL buggy
