A single Savox is worthy choice with great specs with 7.4v power and @ $120.00 it's a good deal.

well i just posted this over in the clone section too....but...heres my take on the servo issues noted in this forum.when ever the 8ight was first released people were burning through throttle and steering servos like crazy.how many did i go through?zero!..why? well when u buy a new servo they will come with rubber mounting gromets,u dont have to use them.they isolate the servo from vibration and keep it off the chassis.now the one thing that makes the 8ight platform so good is the chassis flex..(metal chassis braces ruin this chassis).but if u dont compensate for the flex in ur setup u will have a issue sooner or later.in every throttle setup there is a spring for when the brake is applied,i used a small spring to compensate for this flex at 100%throttle.that with the gromets to keep it off the chassis i never lost a throttle servo, chassis slap would do it to.as for steering servo looses, most of these are due to bad end points and over tightened servo savers or chassis slap, note the need for the gromets.i have read on here of some fading issues,if u have zero binding in ur setup(losi is known for the free steering)and ur servo is mounted properly then thats a servo issue.i would send it back.i cant tell u how many times ive been at the track and see a servo failier, when i investigate the car,no gromets and super tight saver! I DONT KNOW WHY MY STEERING SERVO QUIT!most of the time it just attention to details that can save u money and headaches.

It's been my experience 95% of the time T/B servos in the 5ive burn up because of user error. Of those, it's mostly due to failure to set endpoints correctly--mostly on the brake side. You really don't need that much pressure on the brake pawls to stop the truck effectively--even with the stock brake setup.

Futaba is always the best answer for 1/5. The 4PLS is a sweet setup and you wouldn't be disappointed with it at all.
