Default FG: Removing Bearing from 1/5 Wheel Axle

I'm trying to get a bearing off of wheel axle on a 1/5 sportline. The previous owner had put some shims on it to make it a bit wider but now I want to take it back to standard width but it's stuck.

Managed to get it about 1/4 down and now it seems really stuck. Is there a technique or tool for this or do I have to replace them with a new bearing and axle?

Try taking the axel off if you haven't already and fit a socket to it about the same size and hit it with a hammer. Make sure you put it against a block of wood. A new bearing is only about $6.00 bucks
