Default looking for some advise on 1/5 scale sedans

I'm looking to get into 1/5 scale rc and have seen a couple of fg sportline sedans on ebay. was hoping for some advise on brands to look at and where to purchase "I have'nt seen any for sale here on the forum" also concerned about the availability of parts. any help would be appreciated thanks.

If you are in Socal next week would be a great time to do your research at the Artesia Transit Center, where the 1/5 International Challenge is being held.
FG dealers will be there as well as Contrast.

You can find out more about the event here.

Going to the race event will be a good way to kick start on your choices. Talk to the participant there, they should guide you to a proper channel, and that is always someone going to sell off their equipments due to constant upgrade.
Availability of parts for 1/5 scale is always the most trouble free amount RC world, it never run out of spare, no matter how long you own the car.
(Note: most of my 1:10 vintage cars have difficulties in finding spare parts...)

I'm in so cal but way out in the desert near palm springs. I'm hoping somebody wanting to sell their car will read this. not sure I'm willing to buy new until I get a tast of 1/5 scale. right now I have both jammin and ofna short course trucks that collect dust in the garage and look like they have never been run, so anyone looking for some kind of trade I would also be interested.
