Need help...

Hello, I am in process of building an 1/3 or 1/5 scale full tubing rolling chassis R/C trophy truck (similar to it).. So I am trying to find the solid axle possible for it.. Does anyone know where I could find weldable solid axles? If there's no weldable solid axle then plastic or aluminum with reasonable tabs for links would work.

Sounds like you will have to make friends with the local machine shop and build some one off parts. If you find some 1/4 scale Grand national racers, they would have more info about tube chassis' design, minus the suspension. That's how most of those car are built.

I think you read my post wrong.. im not looking to build an onroad.. and fyi I am custom fabricator.. i have been building an real 1:1 scale trophy trucks, class 7, 8, 1450/1400, etc for last 8 years, and grew up in family n friends that did offroad racing.. So im just looking for help with axle.. solid axle.. to make it look similar to realistic trophy trucks.

I understood you were building a truck, I just pointed towards the 1:4 guys, since they deal with a large rear driveline. Most of their cars are 1wd, but i spent a day at a quarter scale race and saw a full rear axle car that used a one way bearing, mid axle, to drive the outside wheel, when the inner began to lift. Are you looking for a solid rear axle on a swingarm, like a quad racer, or a differental setup, such as the Baja5b/t?

different setup, like these 5th scale rock cralwer axles, but more real look like, i found it but its all aluminum.. i was hoping for steel so i can weld my own tabs for the 4 link system.
