Starting on 1/5 Petrol

Well my nitro car just died so i sold it and now i have £400. I decided to look into Petrol. I know you need £1000 to get into good petrol bajas and stuff. But This caught my eye: http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/ZCA5.htm
I swear that is just a rip off of a baja!!
anyway what are the advantages over nitro and petrol vice versa.

The up front cost of a good car is more than a nitro car--but the ongoing running costs I believe are much less. Petrol/gas engines run very well, easy to tune and last virtually forever if you don't run them too lean!! No going through expensive motors-- even stock motors will keep you competitive because the cars require more precise driving to make them fast.
I just ran two cars in our National Roar Championships-- total cost for the tires /parts and gas I went through for 2 class's--over 2 hours of racing--+ additional practice time--about $350.00. Not bad for 3 days of racing.

I haven't seem too many cars better priced for the value than the Baja!! I've got two of them--the stock 23cc and the Pro 26cc--I can't imagine you'd get a better value than either one--their both around $1000.00. The knock-off ones I've seen aren't worth half as much-- it's like the old adage--
"buy cheap--buy twice"!! The Baja is a GREAT VALUE for a very fun reliable toy!!

My buddy has the "king motor baja" and it rocks I do not know about the other clones being made, but if you were to buy a clone stick with the KING MOTOR name.. they are rumored to be made by HPI?? plus all the HPi parts do fit on the clones....My buddy has had his Km clone since MAy and nothing has BROKEN YET, it just keeps on going. His clone has the 29cc with a race pipe and everything and he got it for only 579.00 shipped to his door

.. that sure is alot cheaper then the HPI baja...
