Thanks for info i will check that one out,How is tunability? Where would 1 get 1 of these?
Tun-ability is great, I rarely have to do much adjusting on my dynamite XP engines and they have lasted longer than any other engine I have ran, you can go to www.protwistermods.com to get the engine. Just give Brian a call he is the owner and a true class act and will not steer you wrong. The nova BF is a good engine but the xp28 even stock will run away from it as will the LRP z3 28 mentioned above. I have a nova p5 I really love for loose dirt but just not enough for a soda/clay track.

I have ran some fast engines in the Dlm but the fastest right now would be the .28 OS xz. The pipe header combo makes a huge diff though. A good onroad .21 will hang with it on the straight but not off the corner.

+1, the OS .28 is one of the most nasty DLM engine's on the market, but one thing i noticed at the last ONS race was everyone was going to 28's, onroad 21.s where getting pulled left and right, labor the 28 with the correct gearing and you wont touch it with a 21, JMHO

Yea I was at that race. My onroad .21 was rippin pretty good. I was the one that bumped 5 mains until I lost the homemade front oneway driveshaft. You do have to run heavy clutchsprings on the onroad engines but they sure make serious HP. The OS .28 will turn some serious rpm with the JP racing conical short header with a 2052 pipe.
