How long does it take to get used to the software they are using to run that forum? I thought that style interface went out right behind 2400 baud modems.

Any other good dirt oval sites out there?

You can change the style of the forum layout. The forum is the best dirt oval forum out there. Instead of talking crap about it try and figure it out.

As for switching the turmoil over to latemodel you can get nice latemodel body from rj speed. They are available from tower or your local hobbyshop If I remember right they even have a body that works for buggy style shock towers.

Thanks for the tip huskerfreak. Much better, I can now follow a post without doing all the clicking. Most of the time I do tend to blow off sites that look like #@% when I first go to them. I'm sure I have missed out on some good info over the years.

That is THE dirt oval site lol. Many bodies are available, RJ, C&M, A+, Stalker, Losi, most people run the Losi, Stalker and C&M body.

There is info on circletrackrc.com, heartlandrc.com, okrcracers.net, texasdirtoval.net, but DODC is the main place

Prob the easiest thing for you to do is get a losi rear mount for a L8ight and use an Ofna GTP front bumper kit.

Thanks loopedout, I will check out those sites.

CrazyFast1, you will most likely find the info on one of those sites but all the guys around here running the Turmoil start off by putting the chassis nose in a vise and adding some kickup to it. Not sure of the degree but I will find out.

DO not add anymore kickup than is made into the car. It will make it push badly and if you add to or take away stock kickup you have to do some fab work in other areas to make things line up like the upper steering brace.

One of our local guys got the Stalker body and it is sweet. I would get the Ofna front bumper and body mounts. You might be able to use your rear wing mounts for rear body mounts.

Is there a website for the stalker body? I'm thinking about converting a losi to dirt oval, the parts minus body are about 60 bux or so.
