Default Help to identify oval pan car

I bought this car thinking it was an RC10L3O and it is not. I have been searching but I think due to it's age I am having trouble. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like an HPI oval conversion for a RC10LSS. Definitely not a RC10L3O, I have three RC10L3O cars.

Looks like you nailed it, I found this picture;

Mine has an associated shock and the T plate but the chassis is dead on.

Now the question is can parts be found, or did I just buy a hens tooth?

You should be able to find front end parts with ease, as you have the associated Dynamic Strut front end and not the HPI Front end. Also, most any 1/10 axle and hubs can be used as well. The rear pod pieces will be more difficult, but you could always get new stuff from the Tbar back.

I wouldnt bother upgrading though. You can find nice Hyperdrive and KSG rollers for less than $200 and they will out perform the car you picked up, as they offer more adjustments.

I just wanted to try oval out and see if I liked it without spending too much money. If it were what I thought it was I would continue, I am just going to put it out there again and see if someone will buy it from me.

Then get a more current car and see. Thanks guys.
