I went to see Mario today at Speed Shop Lawndale!!He is ready for sunday's race!!!He has a HARM with alot of option parts!!Hydraulic brakes also!!The street class is getting popular!!I hope we can recruit some of the ABC racers to join us race these one fifth scale ..

Greater LA club races will now be a part of a series race.
It's simple.
There are 2 club races every month.
The better race from each month will be counted as your series points.
You don't have to participate 2 races every month if you are busy with other stuff. We figure that 1 day out of a whole month shouldn't be too demanding.

The series will start next weekend 9/13 Sun. and End at the Toys for tots race in December.There will be bonus points added to the following races.
The ROAR Region 12 Onroad Fuel Championships 10/9-11
The ROAR TBA Event Proposed dates of 10/23-25
The Toys for tots race dates are TBA (end of December??) This will be the final race for this series

There will be 2 classes in this series, the all new Street class and Competition(STC) class.
For the Street class racers, there will be boxes of "FREE" used performance tires to use at the race!!I went thru some of the boxes and they were really good!
These tires were provided by Frank Killam Racing, VS modelsports, and Contrast Racing.

Timming,
Sat. practice usually starts around 11-12pm. depending on track set up.
Sun. pract. until 10am and race the rest of the day.

Today, we should be done setting the track up by 9 ish?? depending on the amount of people that show up to help.

Sunday the track should be open by 8.

Good paint job. I've always wanted a E30 M3 body, but I only have the short wheelbase and a long wheelbase. Maybe one day!

The track is open for practice at 7:00 AM for the ABC Electric and 1/5 after that. I assume it will be around 8ish as long as everything goes as schedule.
Race starts at 9:15 according to the schedule.

Nice meeting all you guys out there today> Thanks for bringing out your cars Frank! I've decided to go with a new Evo Comp car. So I'll be calling Bob in the morning to place an order!! These cars are SO COOL!!! Nice track layout and excellent organization -- looking forward to racing with you guys in the future.
