Default Have you seen this!

copied and pasted from another site;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys we are trying to put together a big race to be ran this year at our track and have came up with an idea that seems pretty good on paper …
This is all still in the planning stages and is NOT set in stone yet …
Blue / Gray 30
1/8 Scale Spec Latemodel

We figured we are in between most of the Dirt Ovals and the Blue / Gray is a fitting name ….North vs South
We are working on the payout at this time and have came up with
1st Place $500.00
2nd Place$200.00
3rd Place $150.00
4th Place $100.00
5th Place$50.00
We are thinking of an entry fee of $35.00 Pre Registered - $45.00 at the gate…
This would be a 2 day event with practice and qualifiers on Saturday and Mains on Sunday.
We would run under the Spec Latemodel Rules that are in place at our Facility ….Rules can be found on our website …..

The AMAIN would be a 30 min Race

So whatta think guys would this work ….what kind of car count would we see ….Would you travel to West Virginia to race?

Once race is set in stone and advertised , purse will be guaranteed with whatever the car count would be ….However the purse could raise with the amount of cars registered

Give us some feedback if you think this race would workout

Track has about a 300' runline , 18-20' wide slight banking in the turns ....

Thanks ,
Shane Wriston

If you do not get many responses here, you might try posting this event on dirtoval.com for more dirt oval racers to view.
