Default Pro Twister Mods/Dirt Oval Division.

We are proud to announce that PTM will be gearing up for dirt oval racing in the motor department. I had the chance to talk to a few big names this weekend at our first Nitro outlaw race weekend.

We will have .21 to .28 engine's available for the power hungry. We will begin testing in a few week's on the engine's we will be offering. Look for Novarossi, Dynamite, OS engine's to be the primary engine's available. we will also take in engine's if you want to send them in.

Thanks for your time guy's.

I don't think I will have my new ride ready by Sunday. I may have to rent a wreck to get in on the points.

Default Web site question

Brian,

I ran in yesterdays ONS race at CBRCR and was way short on power. I see you are going to start doing DO motors but there is nothing on the web site.....

I needed as well as many other guys, more low end power. We were really hooked up and coming off the corners the cars really seemed to lug......

What motor and gearing were you running. Alot of grip will load the motor center off, or even how much steering your using in the turns. I have yet to run a .28 but am getting gered up for one. The .21's i have been using are getting the job done but i can see the advantage of the .28 clearley, you also have a broader range of gearing selection depending on the .28 you go with, some even though are .28's when stock can be very smooth, i prefer the more aggressive feel of the Novarossi .28's. In my losi i run a 48-13 or 14, the Nova and OS .21's i do don't have any problems running that kind of gear, they pull the whole way without giving up much out of the corner against the .28's, the chassis helps anything the .21 may lack coming off.

Anything Novarossi i can get anytime, we are working on getting the website set up with the Oval division of PTM. OS or Novarossi is readely available, just LMK what your looking for. feel free to give me a call anytime.

Brain, I may have some questions on setting up this 8.
I will add a 3rd PTM to the mix next Sunday.
What would be a good recommendation for motor??
I have the P5xst and the +4 right now.

Stop by the shop this week anytime when your free and you can overlook my car. I have been using the P5 and OS the last 4 weeks, both your nova's should be good for it, i would lean towards the P5 myself out of the 2
