ive seen one from other forums and he did a pretty good job..he had a list of all parts he bougth.he didnt go with the proline conversion .he bought parts of the 5t and installed them in a 5b.he also bought the proline body and wheels.he spent $500+ to complete the project.im not sure if it handled like the 5t but with the parts he got it'll prolly do ..

ya i dont have one yet but im going to get rid of a few nitros and get one i wish there was a place to race them around here but theres not its just with the price of nitro and all the time i spend driveing it would be aton cheaper to run a gasser and who knows mabee more ppl would get them and we could start running them otherwise nitro racing is gonna kill me this yearim thinking ill probally go with a used buggy so if i do get borred running by myself and the no competition"racing factor" i wont be out 1200 bucks

If you go to the HPI baja forum, many say that the proline conversion is lacking. I saw a few of them, and I was not impressed. I have both the 5t and 5b and they both handle differently. A body on a 5bss does not make it a 5t.
The only thing about going gas is that your nitros will be on the shelf feeling neglected. The Baja is an addiction! Be warned!
