Custom Works Oval Car on Carpet setup help

My friends and I are trying to get into dirt oval racing and we think it would be fun to run our cars on the carpet in the winter. We are looking for a little setup advice. I am getting an custom works intimidator se and we are going to use the custom works spec tire on the carpet. Our carpet track is pretty short with tight corners and we are going to run 10.5 brushless with lipos. Looking for any help at all in getting started (shock oil, springs, etc,). thank you for the help in advance!!!
