ok well, hmm. i left here about a year ago (if any of you remember me) though i never left rc. i have been working on projects outside the normality of the hobby and iv got into scratch building cars. im 16 and im doing my GCSE's and i do product design. for my project im building a car but im finding it easy.
its due to be completd in the next month so ill post some pics when im done building. because it was so easy, iv moved onto a more dificult build. i was considering an rc plane, maybe a 3d or even a 4d one but i thought foam would be too easy.
i finaly decided about half a year ago i will build a speed car. but once again because im not normal i wanted to build a scratch built one that was differnt from the rest. of course, wheel driven is the norm so i decided to go with a thrust driven car.
i first thought of building an EDF (electric ducted fan) car because of my previouse interst in planes. but again, i could get away with using balsa as a chassis and thats way to simple for me so i decided to go rocket powerd, hybrid rocket to be esact. for the past month i have been tinkering with this idea. (by now one or two of you might know me)
i decided to call it Black Diamon just because it sounds cool. this is my blog for it that goes into a bit more depth because my fingers are getting tired
