First you'll have to get rid of the truck arms, with those it will be illegal,
The 9.5 will make a good car for dirt oval, the gear and springs will depend on the track you race on, start out with the same stiffness springs on the rear, and the same sprints on the front but softer than the rears.

They aren't truck arms I cheated and put GINORMOUS 5ft hub extenders to fit the crazy beadlock monster wheel/tire combo. It looks kinda cool and is fun to drive but it's a frikin mutt that I can't really race anywhere, and thrashinin the backyard gets old...sortof. The PICCO .28 will most tracks let me run it? I can't find anything on engine size limits but I think a 28 would be ok and I'm sure it won't be the fastest.
So softer up front then drive and go from there, sounds good. Hopefully I'll have some pics and vids of some cool tulsa LM stuff in the next few weeks.

Your motor will be fine for now, maybe a little much on the loose dirt tracks out west, Tulsa has a nice dirt track i've hurd, alot of the western guys on that other site I posted and a few of them running the 9.5 buggies as well you may should ask them.

Have a blast I know we do.
