That means that I could put the late model body on my slayer and have a nitro 1/8th late model. Ant ideas about how to lower the suspension and set the chassis up for dirt oval?

Carguy, this is definately going to be a class that should take off at ERC once Chandler gets the DO put back down. I will definately be buying the chassis soon and converting a Slash over. I am sure we can talk Shooky into building one too.

Any ideas on class rules? We should come up with some, or do you want it a Run What You Brung kind of class?

P.S. I am Mouse on ERC board if you didnt know...

I have one of these that has just been built but never ran. It is a roller and can be bought that way or ARTR. I also have a brand new painted Losi L8ight Model body for it as well. PM me if you are interested. Thanks

Questions??

Any updates, what about other tires, and rims. Can you use most any 10th scale off road truck tires?? I notice on somone's chassis they had what looks to be Crimefighters but I could be wrong, was wondering what rims were used??

Thanks!!

You can use a stock style Slash tire. Or many have been using 1/8 buggy tires. I have Extreme Racing 17mm wheel adaptors. The 1/8 scale tires fit with the 1/8 scale body. You have a number of choices including foams for smooth tracks. I have run bowties and foams on mine.

I took a small break from building chassis. But I am ready for anyone who wants one. Send me a PM and I can hook you up.

There are a couple of us that like the design so well, we thought and see if we could duplicate the production of late Model chassis. We run at 2 different tracks and one was built as a late model and the other was built as a Slash Super Truck. We both have brushless systems, I run a Novak Havoc with a 10.5, and my friends runs a 8.5 in his.. These are incredible fast, and handling is amazing.. We both had love the design so well we had to see if it could be done and both chassis worked out great..

Looks like you did a great job copying someone else's idea.

Thumbs up

Oh by no means are we taking any credit, just enthuse with the concept of what is out there and the possibilities in this Hobby. Just enjoying it to it's fullest.. I once with the help of DarkSide Motorsports came up with a Xray LTO chassis, it was open for interpretation from anyone to use and improve on. I was just glad to have the foresight to do something with a Xray FK04 to run Carpet oval..

My new ride for Summer '09.

I would like to send out a BIG thanks to BrandO Built Racing for a great racing platform as well as Jody Miller @ KillerKoncepts for excellent paint work. I am telling you boys if you aren't doing business with both of these guys you are missing out!
