Looks like a great way to get new racers. I expect them to show up on our carpet oval very quickly; just as the Mini-Slider and Late Models did. Parts (arms, etc) look like they might be XXX and if so, parts availability should be great. This is important for new racers.

I have one on oder, i have the mini slider and mini late model, so this will be a nice at to the family. I also have a speed-t emod and a losi 8ight dirt late model. This car looks like allot of the same parts as the speed-t. well the xxx is about the same. The shock towers are the biggest thing that is not the same. I am trying to get one of the demo 1/10 scale sprinters.... maybe soon.

When i was young I had a Tyco Turbo Outlaw. This brings back a lot of memories for me and I've got to have one of these. It will be a shelf queen though.

Look closely -- the transmission is EXACTLY like the Sportwerks buggy -- NOT the XXX... The shocks look EXACTLY like the Sportwerks buggy -- NOT like the XXX...

From what I can see, they outsourced the whole car to whomever actually makes the Sportwerks buggy... This is sad, because I was planning to convert a XXX-CR buggy....

Just to confirm some of our thoughts. Todd Hodge posted on another forum that the 1/10th Slider doesn't use any existing Losi parts, so no changing XX or XXX over.

There are plenty of Sliders and Mini LM's around, but with the summer, 18th scale turnout is erratic... I usually have mine with me, but haven't been able to race for a couple of weeks.

The Barn doesn't have a web site of it's own, but racing results, etc. are on the Maximum RC forum:
