no pretty simple go through the proper break in procedure.. it say to lean as you go though a tank i keep it rich the whole 4-6 tanks with a rag around it to get it up to temp then just get the top end tuned and just a couple ticks on the bottom end.....i have mine rich so i got about 3 turns on the top not sure about the bottom i have it as rich as i can have it as long as it clears out and ideal fine a good tuning technique is to have the top end set first and to tune the bottom end do the pinch test, pinch the fuel line if it cuts off to 2-4 sec its to lean on the lSN. if it shuts off longer then about 7 seconds to rich as long as it shuts off in 5-6 sec and clears out without a bog its ready to rock.You'll like the engine plenty of power its an 8 port with 4hp. good luck
