Dalton RC new oval track in the works

we are working on a oval track beside the offroad track
any body know the best way to make the track real smooth?
the dirt is north ga. red clay i have it pertty smooth now
just want in smoother

I do not speak from experience but I had checked on this a few months ago and got some input.
Take some chain link fence and throw a couple cross ties on it or something similar and drag it around the track.
What classes you planning on running? If you run nitro touring chassis I may hang on to mine and give this a try.

right now we are planning on 1/8 nitro spec class with
ofna ultra gtp chassis
ofna 28. force motor rule with a 150.00 claim rule
spec tire claim rule
any radio and servo
we have the bodys ready looks like real late model cars no side wings

also a class same body
open motor
open tire

a 1/8 buggy class

1/10 class

and we are open for other class also

have you hit up dirtoval.com and checked out the rules that other places use? no point in being way out there that no one else can come race...
