I've been racing EDM oval for a few months now with gas trucks. I'd say start with a normal off-road setup and then start tweaking on the springs. If you end up making large adjustments on the springs then change to a different spring. Try starting with 2-3 degrees of negative camber on the right side and 0-1 degree of POSITIVE camber on the left (top of tires leaning out).

Just start tuning. See what happens. Take notes on setup sheets.

If its a hard packed track, Get a losi buggy and use the shocks and towers from it. This will also allow you to run the Mcallister truck bodies. Will make a HUGE difference. It lowers the center of gravity, Will make the truck turn in better. If you dont have a buggie. I ran 30 weight oil all the way around with Pink springs.

Loose track use a Standard Off-road and fine tune it.
If I still had pics of mine I would send them to ya. But there long gone.
