Now with the 6S setup this thing really starts moving!

It wasn't scary fast earlier on street but now... Likely enough for the track I hope..

Orion R8 Pro 180A + 1950kv sensored -combo

Orion 1205 High Voltage servo + Castle 10A BEC

Orion hardcase 4600 3S 90C lipos (2)

18T pinion (also recommended by factory with a 2000kv motor)

You might also consider a low profile servo for steering.. like this:

May take some time before a vid, but I will hopefully report later today how it was on track! (if the track is not wet after rains)

Yeah, I got to drive.. it was a blast! Perfect I would say as expected!

It's been a long time since I drove an eight scale onroad (nitro), but this really worked, kewl!

Why does everyone want to convert something from nitro to batteries. So what if it goes faster. You loose the sound, smell and realism of a nitro engine. 8th scale on road is fast enough as it is and you wana make it faster? electric needs to stay with the 10th scale guys. When i heard there was a 8th scale electric off road class it was like what the hell. Electric 8th has too much weight with the batteries, esc and motor. Yeah electric has more torque and more speed but nitro is where its at and needs to stay that way.

Its not really about going faster.

Its about doing the same more easily. A bit differently. Without the noise & dirt.

Relax pal, it's just fun!

Thanks Juan! The car is basically out of the box and handles even surprisingly well.

Go for it

I still think, laptime wise, 4S lipo is faster then 6S.
See the handling of my 4S lipo powered S966e.....
