Nice, any video to share..?

Also, you are running TEKIN ESC? Just wondering the choice of ESC that can handle 6S....thanks

Just imagine this scaled up a bit:
http://www.redrc.net/2011/09/edam-es...is/#more-47347

I'm not a big fan of the 3rd belt, but I think they did it so they could have a tiny front end. If they went to a conventional 1/10 electric touring setup, the gear attached to the front diff/oneway would almost be the same size as the rear gear...

Either that or they wanted to keep using their existing parts so they wouldn't have to source new belts or manufacture a new mold for pulley gears.

Default Motonica P81RS Electron

How come nobody is talking about the Motonica P81RS Electron?

I haven't read the whole thread but it seems that many are designing their own electric 1/8th cars? What about the already designed Motonica and/or Serpent. As you know, these are readily available and would like to get opinions on functionality/performance?

it comes down to how functional things are. Motonica is a good design, goo dpacks can be fitted. the Serpent is a hassle to change batteries.
most have an 8th scale , and convert themselves, as a motor mount and some design work is cheaper than a new kit. i have worked on my own also. using the new shorty packs for the Losi 22 . yet to have a full day to work on settings and gearing, and looks like it wont happen again tommorow, due to rain.

The Motonica GT body and P81RS Electron are back in stock. Toy Town Hobby Shop and A Main Hobbies should both recieve theirs today. For anyone who owns any of the P81 series nitro cars, the electric conversion kit is in stock as well.

Nice. It looks like its missing the center mounted spring and shock unless that was omitted from the picture just for now. Also what front end are you basing that off of? Kyosho?

I'm kinda interested on how you plan on mounting those 1/8 rear tires to that straight axle. Will it be a threaded adapter with a large hex nut?
