Just wanted to start a thread on the Inferno GT. I am looking to run this chassis this spring/summer and wanted to share any information. Especially about tires and the like.
I am with you, hope we can get it started. We will be racing them this summer.

All the springs from the 7.5 and if i am not wrong 777. The car handles very well. The GTP from Ofna that was on the track last week looks to be the winning car if he races it.

We are running an 'out of the box' spec class of these this summer at Pro Speed, Middletown, NY. While the rules need some refinement, it really is shaping up to be a fun low-cost class. I hear there are 20ish of them floating around the track right now waiting for some weather to start racing.

I have an IGT. Its a blast. Mine is nowhere near stock anymore though. A track near me was going to do a stock class but I'm not fond of it. Many people have had problems with the .28 and stock the single brake pad overheats and fades really bad on the track. doesn' really matter to me though because the track is too far for me to be going to often enough to race it anyhow.
I believe a track in Maryland is considering having a stocker class. That would be good for folks like me that are considering getting into racing but hesitate because of the crazy cost of running 1/8 on-road. If the engines, and especially the brakes, are a weak point, maybe there can be some language added to the rules to accommodate slight upgrades. Just a suggestion.
Edit: Just noticed Rhys signature. That is the track I am referring to, 301 in Maryland. How do the IGT fare on that large of a track?
We just had our first race on the track Sun, And it was a ball. More people are planing on getting one. Sorry to say it is a open class. Any motor or hop-up. For the people that do not know me I run the store down from 301-raceway. If you want to know when we race call the store 301-868-4904

Cool. I will be out at the track this weekend, if the rains hold off
