If youre looking for a 190-200mm 1/10 pan car youve got the L3T and youve also got the RC10R5.

Here is a wide car that I came across on Ebay if that is more your cup of tea:

....hey Andrew_67, if you had your heart set on road course racin', you may want to find an associated rc 10L chassis plate for carpet , 1/10th on road-the basic under pinnings are there (ie. front end ,t-plate rear pod)-anyone please correct me if i'm wrong but these should convert the oval car to on-road (center'd t-plate,3-shock rear end, etc)..........speaking of t-plates, Xray has their WGT t-plate car, accordin' to their wbsite and Serpent has their 1/10th link car.

You'll need to get a good balance on it. Be sure to equal the weight side to side.
And I would try with a little more to the rear. Then you'll need to tweak it from the shocks. Lift the front end up from the center and watch the front wheels come up. You want them to come up evenly. You tweak useing the preload on the side shocks.
Good Luck.

For the last few years, I ran an L3o as an asphalt road course car but haven't tried it on carpet (only just started on carpet with my new 10R5 ). Don't let the look of the chassis put you off; it works quite well turning both directions.

the max10.

Some small things are a little different then the rc10l2. The opening at the front is a little different and so are the battery slots but the rest of the dimensions are the same. The current upper podplate is not the same as in that picture. It has already been modified to get better clearence with brushles motors.

Has anybody done a body mount on the rear pod for the 235mm cars, like 1/8 GP on-road? This will transfer the downforce to the tires instead of the suspension. Or will it affect the rear pod movement too much?

Default .......hey, Dr. Speed........

........I had observed , not specifically the body that is mounted to the pod , but it was the [large] wing being mounted ; a Rc 10L i'd purchased form the forums had the "quick-release" wire mounts to secure the wing. A slot in the rear window let the wires pass through . Apparently, the cars' former driver was an oval racing driver.
