received a very interesting email today.. probably twice a year for two years i have emailed vans invent (formerly dahms).. here is what i got out of the blue today..
Quote:
Sir/mam,

Vans Invent inc is back to making bodies, but is limited to times and days per month. We no longer except credit cards or checks. We may perhaps start using paypal, but will only except payments through western union. We are expecting our website to be back up in the near future, but for now we are only making bodies on a limited schedule. If you or anyone you know would like to purchase bodie(s) from us please respond to the email address and we will let you know what we can do for you.

Thanks for your time,
Vans Invent, inc

yeah nice color scheme!. I have a gen2 as well but never drove it yet. Oval isn't popular overhere anymore and i don't seem to find the time to get it running on the track with all the pro10 races going on here.

It is still on my to do list though to get some drivers together who still have an oval car (not many) and get some training races going.
