Yes we have a nice outdoor 1/8 track, great for low wind motors and Gen X 10

Boy would I like to run my I-Fource 235mm car set up on that track!!!

We have a similar track in Colorado, On our track the fastest 1/8 nitor car has a lap of 13.9 (A-Main National Driver). I turned a 14.9 last week running just a 10.5 and 3200 lipo. I may be able to get to the mid 14's with a little change on the front tires/springs. I also have a 6.5 that I might play with this weekend, but need to upgrade to 5000ma lipo.

On our track, my I-fource has been putting 1+ lap on any of the CRC Gen-10x set up to 235 or 200, but I'm helping the guys get closer. Next fastest car is a PRC Max10 (think 10L2.5) and I have my Killer Corally as a back up T-Plate version of the C-10X. Avitar picture is my car.

This is where i use to spend my free time:track lenght is 265 mt. x 4mt width.
(sorry for the small pick but i couldn't find any better)

Perfect for a low winded 235 set up. (not my case :7.5L/2S 200mm)
It's a very apreciated track from 1/8 drivers but 1/10 nitro sedans rules.
Many Ep racers are scared to drive sedans here but with a Pro10 it's whole different story.
Battling with nitro's is the price to get respect at the pits, impacts while overtaking is just part of the game.

I got some bodies out of Germany back a few years ago with some help of Pro10 Holland. I understand that there are no more left which is sad, but I may have found a way to make these in a small run with out a hugh cost.

I think it was done off a Hotbodies Nissan, and re-pulled already. So to make it work, need to make a new mould and clean up some of the areas. But the body has worked for me very well. I'm going to a Protoform Peugot med down fource this weekend to see how much different it feels.

Not sure, but it looks like these are different. Is that correct?

I'd also be interested to know how they compair to the Peugot med and high down fource.

Any idea on the cost shipped to the states? We could probably pool an order and then distribute.

i've got no info on how the body handels. And the body on the lower picture won't work(to less downforce on the rear)

but the maker claims that the porsche body is nice and stable, and made of 1mm thick material

i shall ask him if he wants to ship to the usa, shipping costs will be high i think. So will only be worth it when you by as a group.

Richard, probably similar to WGT, so I'd start in the 2.50 roll out, but you know the drill, check the temp after 4-5 laps. Should be interesting to know what the traction is like.

Default Vintage Onroad Nationals

Hey guys, it's good to see some guys are keeping 1/10th pancar alive!! Just to let anyone interested know. In late Jan or early Feb of 2010 Thunder RC in Nashville TN will be hosting the 1st Annual Vintage Onroad Nationals. We will run whatever classes anyone wants to run, as long as the car was produced in 1994 or earlier.

A friend and I are organizing this race, if anyone has any questions you can PM me. We'll create a few threads once the flyer has been made up and the dates confirmed, but the track owner said we have a green light to hold this race so get ready, it will be a fun one!!!
