@ Mathijs
Congrats on your win.
I didnīt find any pictures from that race at the Lemans site. Are there any other? What tires did you use in the wet/rain?

Well do I understand right, are you not running your X-10 anymore but a Corally now?

Havenīt been at the forum for a long time, but now the Pro10 season is beginning here again.

I now have a small sponsorship from Corally, so I now drive Corally.
I must say that I'm very happy with the switch, the corally car really runs well.

The pictures of race 1 are still being processed. Our photographer shot around 250 pictures, so it takes a lot of time to filter them out and upload them.
When they're ready I'll post a link.

In the wet I used caps, on a damp track I went for Corally damp tires (closed cell foam) and when the track was drying but had a few wet patches, I went for my regular racing tires, only without traction compound.

Interesting idea for the rear wets
Wonder if it actually worked?

The TC tires worked, but Tamiya caps over soft foam works better.

Tamiya Caps was discontinued about 10 years ago, which is why I asked about the tyre set up.

Well, we had our first pavement race of the season and 6 235 pan cars made it out. Ran 10.5's and I had a good day, using the same chassis that I ran last year, with last years set up was still working very well. Tried some tires and compound applications and made more progress.

Darkside I-Fource with 2 cell Orion 3200 lipo in the center, Corally tires, Tekin RS ESC with a Hacker 10.5 brushless (wanted something sealed due to the dust). Best was the body that I got out of Germany back a year or two with Pro-10's help. Car was planted, if you could apply the power with controll, and not just hammer down.

We had an interesting mix of CRC conversions, Poug Powels Max10 and an 10L2. Max 10 was close and with some work, he could have passed me.

Too much fun!!!

Another good weekend with the 235 I-Fource. Ran on a 200' x 100' nitro track. Ran a 10.5 and was turning 16.4 laps when 1/10 nitro was 15.4's and 1/8 scale got into the high 13's. Should have had a 3.5 to play with, but the class was 10.5. Did TQ and won the class.

Pro 10 Holland .... back a few years ago you helped me get some bodies out of Germany. I really like the Nissan with the ridge going into the rear wing and deep pocket behind the rear tires going into the rear spoiler (my avatar). Are these still available??

Thanks in Advance!

Congratulations on your win!
Do you have any pictures?

I haven't seen those Nissan GT-1 bodies in a while.
The last thing I've heard is that they had 500 made in the day, and they are all gone now.

Around here, in the Netherlands we now see a variety of Protoform Nissan P-35's, Peugeot MD and HD's. In Germany it's either the Porsche or some kind of Lola (both 235mm nitro bodies). I've counted as much as 4 different types of Lola's already.

Pro Ten Holland .... Thanks for the info on the bodies. I've got the PewJoe's and several Lola's as well. Guess it is time to play with a new body. I thought there was a limited supply when I got these, probably should not have sold as many as I did, but I know the ones who have them and run them really like it. It was very balanced.

Sorry, no pictures, other than a blown up rear ride height adjuster / bearing that was damaged when I tried to out muscle a 1/8 IGT nitro car. (think 1/8 off road set with rubber tires and rally type body .... heavy). Other wise the car is the same as last year. Even using the same tires as run for the last race of the season.

Mark
