First I want to say I had a great time this weekend at Crystal Park Raceway. I think I got my car handling at it's best since my year into this hobby and persistence and perseverance is now paying off.
Second: I got to meet a great guy (HairyMuffin) sorry forgot your name and though we did not get to run togheterher I was able to chat a bit with him and hopefully we can get this class going.
Third: Just recieved a personal message from Charlie the director of So. Cal RC Racing and was advised that he will be running electric races on the third Saturday of the month starting this Saturday March 21st at Crystal Park Raceway. With that said now is the opportunity for 2 or three more guys that are interested in pro10 to come on down and get this going. I am still waiting for details from Charlie and can also visit his site at http://socal.rcracing.com/
Here are some new pic of the track and a couple of my car:
One of the nitro guys I see at the track running an electric touring car
I will be there tommorrow with my old but new Trinity SwitchBalde car(Need parts too) Just wondering what gear you are running? I was there last Sunday.
Nice kit. Well after trying the 17.5 wgt and than trying 3.5 235mm, there is no way I could go back. The need for speed. But I could understand some if they do not have a fast track near them than I could see pushing the wgt class. As for me I'll keep pushing here in L.A. for pro10.
On a side note We will be meeting up at Crystal Park Raceway Saturday morning and track will be open at 8am, racing starts at 10am. Any pan cars are welcome 200mm or 235mm will just see what the turn out is and go from there. So come on down and have some fun.
Here is the flyer for this Saturday's race so bring your pan car, touring, nitro.

I'm usually at Crystal Park on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month when no racing is going on and of course now on the 3rd Saturday with the above racing. Let me know if you make it out to cp on none race weekends and I'll try to make it for some practice.

Well I finally ran my first race. Though no pan cars showed up, I was put in with mod touring. I believe it was 6 or 7 of us and was in third place when my axle snapped after hitting a bump. It snapped around the area I had super glued it a week or two ago. Yes I procrastinated this week and almost bought a second one to have it stock, bummer I didn't as my first race ended early It was fun and will be having electric races at Crystal Park Raceway once a month 3rd Saturday of the month. See CP thread below.
I'll continue to rally pro10 or world gt pan cars so if anyone on this thread is in the Los Angeles area personal message me and will get the pan class going.
I will be at this track on the 2nd and 4th weekend of the month when no racing is held and will be practicing if you want to check the track out or test my car. just pm and will meet up.
well, i'll post more later, but last night i ran my wide pan for the first itme in a while and used a "special sauce" for compound.. all i can say is holy crap!.. i made a mixture of 3 parts kingsford charcoal lighter fluid and 1 parts heavy sunscreen... my car was stuck like mad... i had premixed them together so i just apply them at once massage it in a bit, let it sit about 15 minutes, wipe clean then go chase nitro cars witha 13.5....

It's about time for me to convert the Darkside car back to 235 and get ready to play. We use 10.5's with 2 cell lipo, so nitro cars are dots to pass ....
I may have to try your "Special Sauce" and see how it compairs to Red Dot with lotion. Kind of like the apply once process.
