Default Why's that?

Been away from carpet oval for 10 yrs lhs put in a carpet track a while back and I got the bug again, so I went lookin at my old stuff and found a trinity switchblade with a monoball rear pod that I enjoyed running on the old track(banked oval med sized/new track flat med sized) looking at all the oval cars on the market no one uses a monoball pod? what are the advantages of the T plate system. thanks for your advise.

IMO, a T-bar is more consistent/stable and in addition, the old Trinity style rear-ends were a PITA to get and keep "square".

Yea, that's a big one. Most of it was the "run what the fast guys run" syndrome. Trinity stopped making monoball cars and nobody else really continued the trend. I bet that they'll make a come back one day.

Were they better on a banked track? or a less than perfect(flat) track? I remember lining up the rear pod/and rear steer and I thought that was a great feature, thanks for the comeback.
